773 is the Rescue Truck, a Ranger Rescue Model mounted on a 1987 International Chassis. It is equipped with the Jaws of Life including Hurst's top of the line spreader and cutter. In addition 773 carries ladders, hand tools, saws, low and high pressure airbags, air tools, rope rescue equipment, and medical supplies. The picture above is 773 with the Hurst Jaws of Life tools it carries and below is a close up on those tools.

In addition to the tools on 773 in 2006 WEFAS purchased the Hurst LKE 55 which is a battery powered combination cutter and spreader which is kept on one of the first due ambulances making that ambulance. This tools is moved as the response order changes. This tool makes one of our ambulances a rescue ambulance. This tool is capable of performing some extrication tasks but is much smaller than the hydrolic powered tools shown in the picture above so it does not replace the need for 773.
